I’m going to Bloody Words

I’m so excited that I will be attending Bloody Words in Toronto next weekend. I love going to conferences and seeing my writing friends and make new friends.

I can’t wait to sit in on such panels as ‘Romantic suspense & cozies – no longer what you expect,” and ‘Split Personality, writing more than one series.’

Several of my friends are on the ’Humor panel’ and that’s one I’m really looking forward to.

This year I’m not only attending, I’m also taking part in a panel ‘Are short stories the new black? with Jane Burfield, Madeleine Harris, Rebecca Senese and moderated by Sharon Crawford. I’m both thrilled and terrified at the same time but I know these wonderful women will help me get through it.

I’ve got copies of ‘Nefarious North, A Collection of Short Crime Stories’ for giveaways and a copy to prop up in front of me. Hopefully if the questions get too hard I can duck behind it and hide.

My friend Linda Cahill and I will be signing copies of Nefarious North at the Sisters in Crime table on Saturday at 11 am.
